Bush
radios were assembled in New Zealand from English parts, and fitted
into New Zealand made cabinets. During the early war years when
radios could no longer be imported, small quantities of Bush radios
were designed and made here, until total prohibition of manufacture
came into being. In 1940, Radio (1936) Ltd made a set that looked
very much like the English Bush PB63. A bit of plagiarism?
