Mikiphone Ultraportables to my way of thinking, are a very desirable addition to any collection. This one would date from about 1925. They are Swiss Made Quality!

The carrying handle, just showing at the top, doubles as the winding key.

It plays very well, even to having a speed-control mechanism. I believe the mechanism may have been made by Thorens. But I haven't confirmed this, as yet.

All parts stow inside the 4 1/2" x 1 3/4" stainless steel container.
