Crusader radios, like the Skyscraper, were made by various manufacturers, for the Appliance retailer, Bond & Bond.

This 7 valve (plus Magic Eye) radio has an electromag speaker. It is from approx 1941, but there is no manufacturer's label. The cabinet on it was real rough, and it wasn't working!  However, it restored up very nicely. It also now works really well.

It is a 5 band job. Broadcast, plus 4 spreadbands on shortwave. Actually, it's quite a large radio, of its type.
