Decca Radio

I have absolutely no information on Decca radios at this stage. I guess there was a tie up with the recording company, as the spelling is the same.

I am assuming this radio may have  been brought in from the United Kingdom. It is interesting in that it is called a Double Decca. A play on words, I guess. It is battery and power operated, hence the "Double" bit of the name. It has 4 valves plus a selenium rectifier, 2 gang tuner and 4 inch speaker. The loop aerial is around the wooden cross. There is a voltage selector for 110, 220 and 24o volts, so presumably was intended to be used anywhere in the world. At the moment, it does not work.
