Philips

This 5 valve, plus magic eye, Philips radio has a very shiny marble-grained plastic cabinet. There are broadcast, shortwave and spreadband frequencies. The magic eye works in reverse to most. It has a bright vertical line that gets shorter as it is tuned. The tone control has a switch in the middle of its travel. One half of its travel operates the bass and the other half the treble. Maximum of both in the centre. This would have been made in the late 50s or early 60s.
